Valentine's Purse Decoration

I went to my local Roberts craft store and they had these adorable paper mache purses on display. This is what it looked like before:

And here's after I decorated it!

I painted the top, sides, and bottom with a pink paint that matched my paper, and then I got two different My Mind's Eye papers from their Laundry Line paper for the front and back. I used mod podge to stick them on - I just put the glue on the back of the papers since I didn't want that glossy finish for my finished product. I added a cute picture in the heart cutout, some decorative ribbon to the handle, and a little flower to the front and poof I had a new Valentine's decoration! Have a great Sunday!

Snowman & Create a Critter Penguin Card

For this card I used DCWV Christmas paper & cardstock, and a few different Cricut cartridges - the snowman was from Doodlecharms (but I added the heart & scarf), the snowflake was from Joys of the Season, and the adorable little penguin was from Create a Critter. I also used the Star Dust Stickles on the snowman and snowflake for some extra shimmer.

Weekly I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

The photo challenge this week at I Heart Faces is Innocent Wonder. My sweet little girl just took a minute to rest at the park, but my kids are all so used to the camera being in their faces by now :) I love taking pictures just as the sun is going down, the light at that time of day is the greatest.

Happy Birthday Turtle

Happy Birthday to Robyn at the Pink Stamper! I love the Paisley cartridge turtle and this was the perfect chance to get to use him! I pleated some paper for the center strip and used the Cuttlebug Spots & Dots embossing folder to give some texture to the sparkly Gemstones cardstock from Coredinations. The rest of the paper is from the My Mind's Eye Penny Lane collection, all their paper is great. Hope you like it, have a great day!

Happy Birthday Create a Critter Snake card

Using the Create a Critter snake on page 30, and Martha Stewart ribbon, I made this Happy Birthday card. I hope you enjoy it!

I had some time today to relax for a minute and I started thinking that Valentine's Day is just around the corner so I figured I better hurry up and post this card. So not only can you give away a cute card, but a yummy Reeses heart too! :) I used the Create a Critter cartridge to do the Love and then I used a double-heart charm from the wedding section at my local Michaels craft store to add a little sparkle. I'll post a video soon, have a great Sunday!

Little Boy Robotz cricut card

This card is for Charlie. You can read about him from My Pink Stamper 's blog and Cricut Crafts by Angela 's blog - I think she is giving updates and the caringbridge link is there also. Robyn asked for cards for him and here is mine. I will have a video up of how I made it next week. Pay attention to the wheels, the tongue, and the nose of the dog robot from the Robotz Cricut cartridge. Robot 8 and page 35. I hope you will join me in sending this sweet boy a card.
Have a great day- and hug your little ones.

Design Team Entry

I'm all about the challenges this week I guess! :) Inking it Up Crazy is having a Design Team challenge and I needed to make a Cricut creation to enter. Well of course that was fun to do, and I used one of my favorites, the Create a Critter cartridge - so many cute little animals on there, can't wait to use them all!

Once Upon A Princess Cupcake

I used the Once Upon a Princess Cartridge. The cute cupcake is on page 50 (cupcake-3)
The pretty paper is by Stampn' Up. I can't remember the name of it, so if you know- please post a comment of it- it is beautiful.
Bazzil, and inked with distress ink Aged Mahogany.
Entered in the CardzTv Challenge.
